Javier Ortega is a Partner in Andersen’s Real Estate Law department at the Madrid office.

Javier has more than 25 years of experience specialising in highly complex commercial asset transactions, ranging from office and logistics buildings to hotel assets and tourist complexes. Throughout his career, he has advised on sales and leasing transactions, urban planning, mortgage law and structured real estate financing, including the acquisition of non-performing loans and debt restructuring.

He has been recognised by the prestigious Chambers Europe and Legal 500 directories, among others. In addition, he combines his professional work with teaching as a professor of Real Estate Financing and Acquisition.
