Andersen and IE University and Law School launch the Advanced Legal Program ESG and Circular Economy: Legal and Business Perspective. The aim of this course is to provide companies and their professionals with tools to identify, understand, and apply the new regulatory framework on ESG, sustainability, and the circular economy. The program is aimed at lawyers, legal advisors, corporate compliance officers, sustainability directors, tax advisors, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) professionals, or anyone else who wishes to specialize in Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).

To address all these aspects in depth, the program, which begins on March 24 and lasts two months, is structured in five modules: (i) introduction to the program and regulatory compliance in ESG standards; (ii) sustainable finance; (iii) green taxation; (iv) extended producer responsibility; (v) and roadmaps to decarbonization.
The program is under the academic direction of Arancha Bengoechea, Partner and Co-Director of Andersen’s Public and Regulatory Law Department. The faculty also includes other professionals from the firm, such as Carlos Mínguez, Partner in Public and Regulatory Law; Esmeralda Iranzo, Director of Litigation; Joaquín Ureña, Partner and Head of the Economic and Financial Law Department; José Miguel López, Partner in Public and Regulatory Law; Mar Guardiola, Director of Tax Law; Miguel Prado, Partner in Commercial Law; Santiago Fernández Lena, Partner in Commercial Law; and Vicente Sanz, Partner in Tax Law.
