Ignacio Blanco is currently Director of Andersen's Corporate and Commercial practice in the Madrid office.

Previously, he worked at ARPA Abogados, Cuatrecasas and Araoz & Rueda.

Ignacio specialises in corporate and commercial law, focusing his activity both on M&A transactions in the energy and self-consumption sector and on the financing of this type of projects (acting for banks and financing institutions as well as for the financed entities). He has participated in the acquisition and sale of renewable energy projects (wind, photovoltaic, solar thermal and biomass) advising developers, investment funds and financial institutions in Spain, Mexico, Chile, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Peru, Italy, Poland and Romania.

He also has extensive experience in negotiating turnkey construction (EPC) and operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts.
