Since becoming a member firm of Andersen Global in 2017, the firm has experienced unprecedented growth, the result of a sustained strategy based on quality, specialization, and a commitment to promoting and attracting talent.
In less than a decade, Andersen in Iberia has established itself among the leading law firms in Spain and Portugal, with revenues exceeding €70 million and more than 500 professionals.
This evolution has resulted in a comprehensive Iberian presence, with the opening of new offices in strategic locations, the move to new headquarters as a result of the growth of our teams and capabilities, and involvement in advising on complex, high value-added transactions.
At the same time, Andersen in Iberia has acquired a strategic role within Andersen Global, through the direct involvement of our Managing Partner José Vicente Morote, and other partners of the firm, in the key governing and management bodies of the organization at the international level.

2017
Olleros Abogados becomes a member firm of Andersen Global and officially adopts the name Andersen.
2018
Andersen opens its new Madrid headquarters on Calle Velázquez.
Andersen opens an office in Seville to continue its territorial expansion plan in Spain.
2020
Andersen appoints José Vicente Morote and Íñigo Rodríguez-Sastre as co-managing partners of the Firm.
2021
José Vicente Morote is elected member of Andersen’s Global Board, the body responsible for setting the firm’s strategic development and management guidelines.
Andersen opens an office in Barcelona with the incorporation of CHR Legal

Andersen integrates the Portuguese firm into its structure

José Vicente Morote, Managing Partner of Andersen in Iberia
Since 2021, José Vicente Morote has been Managing Partner of Andersen in Iberia and Chairman of the Firm’s Board of Directors, elected by all the partners.
He also plays a significant role internationally within Andersen Global. He is a member of Andersen’s Global Board and Leadership Committee, the European Board, and the European Management Committee, and heads Andersen’s European Services Lines, coordinating the legal services provided by the firm in 40 jurisdictions across the continent.
Under his leadership, Andersen in Iberia has achieved exponential growth, with turnover increasing by 250%, from €20 million to €70 million at the end of 2024. He has also led the firm’s expansion process, expanding its geographical coverage to five locations by opening offices in Barcelona, Lisbon, Malaga, Bilbao, and Porto, making Andersen in Iberia a firm with the capacity to offer services throughout the Iberian Peninsula under a single management structure.
José Vicente Morote embodies the fundamental pillars of the firm’s culture. His career has been built on the values that define Andersen: commitment, quality, ethics, and transparency.
