German Desk

The German Desk is a team of partners, attorneys, and tax advisors from across the Firm’s practice areas (Corporate, Tax, Employment, Real Estate, Regulatory, etc.), highly specialized in German-speaking clients and markets. Team members provide legal and tax advice entirely in German, supported by their academic background and professional experience in Germany. Some are also qualified attorneys in Germany.

The team brings over 20 years of experience advising and representing German-speaking clients across Iberia—particularly from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland—as well as supporting Iberian clients in their transactions in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The group advises both corporate and private clients, with a particular focus on high-net-worth individuals.

Over the course of their careers, the members of the German Desk have advised, and continue to advise, some of the most prominent DACH companies in Iberia across a wide range of industries, including automotive, financial services, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, retail, and technology.

In addition to deep technical knowledge of the Spanish and Portuguese legal frameworks, the team is highly experienced in the languages and business cultures of both Iberia and German-speaking countries, helping clients navigate and overcome legal, linguistic, and cultural challenges.
