Mercedes Aguado is currently Of Counsel in the Public Law area of the Madrid office.
She has more than 31 years of professional experience, during which she has specialized in advising national and international companies and individuals on cross-border transactions in commercial law, private international law and civil law, particularly in the areas of investments, administration of estates, family law and international successions.
She is the founding partner of the Madrid law firm Advocatia Abogados, where she has developed a large part of her professional career, until her incorporation as Of Counsel to Lozano Schindhelm in 2016.
Parallel to her work as a lawyer, Mercedes develops an intense associative activity and participates as a speaker in the organization of international congresses and conferences on legal topics. She is a founding member and honorary president of the Asociación Hispano-Austríaca de Juristas, since its creation in 2009. In addition, she is a regular speaker at associations and forums on private international law, where she has given several lectures on bilateral Spanish-German matters. She is also a founding member and Honorary President of the Hispano-Austrian Association of Jurists.
