Xavier Miravalls is currently Of Counsel in Andersen’s Commercial Law Department at the Barcelona Office.

He has more than 45 years of experience, specialising in M&A transactions and advising on corporate investment and divestment projects. He also has solid experience in succession planning for family groups in growth phases and in the renewal and restructuring of family corporate structures.

For 21 years, he was Director of one of Barcelona’s leading firms, also serving on its Board of Directors and Strategy and Marketing Committee, among other management responsibilities.

At the same time, he has been Director of the Master’s Degree in International Law at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE – Law & Business School). He is also a regular lecturer at the Instituto de Empresa and ESADE.

He holds a degree in Law from the University of Barcelona and completed his training with a Master’s Degree in Comparative European Law from the University of Strasbourg, as well as the Senior Management Programme (PADE) at IESE Business School.
