Juan Martínez is a Partner in Andersen’s Tax Department at the Madrid office.
He has over 25 years’ experience in providing international tax advice to multinational groups, middle-market companies, investment funds, start-ups, senior executives and high-net-worth individuals. He runs a practice with a strong international focus, advising clients from the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia on cross-border expansion, investment and restructuring transactions.
He specialises in international taxation, transfer pricing and advice to high-net-worth individuals. His expertise covers tax planning for corporate groups, private equity funds and family offices, as well as the design and implementation of international structures and wealth and corporate reorganisation projects.
She regularly advises family groups and their shareholders on wealth planning, generational succession, investment structuring and family governance, playing a part in both the strategic design and the execution and implementation of the solutions adopted across different jurisdictions. She also has extensive experience in advising senior executives and management teams on international mobility, carried interest, partnership structures, share options and other equity-linked remuneration schemes, with a particular focus on tax efficiency and risk management.
Throughout his career, he has taken part in numerous training programmes, conferences and international forums on taxation, transfer pricing and wealth planning in Europe, the United States, Latin America and Asia. He is also a regular speaker at seminars, webinars and technical conferences, both in Spain and internationally.
