José Deusa is Director at the Corporate/M&A of Andersen’s Valencia office.

He has more than 17 years of professional experience in the Corporate and M&A area. He mainly develops his activity in the commercial advice to national and international entities of different sizes and activities inherent to different sectors. He actively participates in different corporate acquisitions and restructuring operations, both national and international, as well as in different procedures for reviewing the legal situation of the different entities (due diligence process).

Throughout his professional career, he has advised various clients of different sizes on compliance with the prevention of money laundering and the financing of terrorism, and is an accredited external expert in this field with SEPBLAC. He also has extensive experience in advising on the governance of different entities of various sizes.

In the academic field, he is a lecturer at the Fundación de Estudios Bursátiles y Financieros on the Master’s Degree in Corporate Legal Consultancy, in the subject of Administrative Body. He also teaches courses to different clients on the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing and corporate governance.

In addition, José Deusa is Associate Counsel of the firm, as well as a member of the firm’s Internal Control Board for the prevention of money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
