Víctor Barrio is a Partner in Andersen’s Tax department in the Madrid office.

He has over 20 years‘ experience advising domestic and international clients, with a particular focus on tax litigation and in-depth knowledge of satellite and telecommunications regulatory law.

He specialises in defending and representing taxpayers in all types of tax proceedings—management, inspection and collection—both in administrative proceedings and in contentious-administrative jurisdiction. Throughout his career, he has been involved in proceedings before national bodies, including the Constitutional Court, as well as before international bodies, such as the Court of Justice of the European Union. He also has solid experience in collection proceedings, including requests for suspension, deferral and debt rescheduling.

In the field of space law, Víctor is Vice-President of the Spanish Association of Aeronautical and Space Law (AEDAE) and a member of the International Association for the Advancement of Space Safety.
