Augusto Martín is a Partner in Andersen’s Corporate Practice at the Seville office.

He has extensive experience in the fields of industrial and intellectual property, technology, data protection and company law, regularly advising national and international companies on transactions and projects with a high degree of technological and innovative content.

Throughout his career, he has provided advice on intellectual property matters, including software, algorithms, databases, digital works, generative artificial intelligence, copyright and audiovisual content; industrial property, with a particular focus on patents and trade marks; and unfair competition. He is also an expert in technology contracts, covering software development, SaaS and cloud services, as well as IT outsourcing.

His practice also includes advising on technology transfer and R&D projects, artificial intelligence and compliance with the European AI Act, cybersecurity and compliance with the NIS2 Directive, as well as the protection of trade secrets, know-how and confidential information.

Before joining Andersen, he built his career at the firms Cuatrecasas and RCD, where he gained solid experience in providing legal advice to businesses.
