Santiago Fuertes is a Partner at Andersen and responsible for the Corporate area in the Seville office.

Previously, he worked at Garrigues for 15 years as a Principal Associate in the Corporate Department.

Santiago is a specialist in the transaccional field of the energy sector, family business and real estate and advices in the areas of real estate and corporate. He has wide experience in advising on transactions in the energy sector, as well as serving family companies. He also acts as a Secretary to the Board of Directors in different companies and advises on corporate governance matters. He has been involved in a number of corporate restructuring proceedings and has extensive experience in M&A. Moreover, he has participated in negotiation proceedings of commercial contracts, both international and domestic.

In the academic field, he has been speaker in several meetings at Instituto Internacional San Telmo and professor in a numer of courses and postgraduate studies in institutions as Instituto de Estudios Cajasol, Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Escuela de Organización Industrial de Sevilla, among others. He is the author of numerous articles published in different media in recent years.
