María Cabanillas is a Senior Associate in Andersen's Corporate Law Department in the Madrid office. Previously,

María Cabanillas has been Head of the Regulatory Compliance Department of JB Capital, member of its Internal Control Body and representative before the SEPBLAC of the company.

Previously, she worked as an associate in the Legal Department of this entity. María Cabanillas specializes in legal and regulatory advice, with particular expertise in capital markets, market abuse, prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing and corporate governance. 

Her experience in an investment services company includes her participation in the implementation of new regulations (MIFID II and GDPR), the review and adaptation of policies and procedures to the new regulatory requirements, the control and supervision of the rest of the company's departments, as well as the communication and processing of files before regulatory bodies.
