Managing Partner
José Vicente Morote has been the Managing Partner of Andersen in Spain and Portugal since 2021 and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Andersen Iberia, elected from the Board of Directors of the Firm.
Since 2019, he has been a member of the Global Board and the European Board of Andersen Global. He has also been the director of Andersen Europe’s legal practice since 2018, coordinating the legal services provided by the firm in 40 jurisdictions.
José Vicente is one of the most important figures in the Andersen global structure, sitting on the Leadership Committee – an operational management body that lays the strategic foundations for the organisation’s future – and heading up the global training division for more than 180 countries.
With a clear business strategy, since his appointment as Managing Partner in January 2021, Andersen Iberia has achieved exponential growth, with a 255% increase in turnover, from 20 million euros to 80 million euros at the end of 2025, with a forecast of reaching 110 million in 2026. Similarly, it has achieved a 150% increase in turnover per professional and implemented new metrics and parameters, achieving greater productivity and profitability for the organisation.
Intending to ensure the highest profitability of the firm’s matters and clients, in 2022 it created INVA BPO, a business process outsourcing company that manages routine matters such as payroll, tax, income and accounting, among others. This allows the two types of services to be differentiated and positions Andersen as a firm offering high added value services, allowing for better and more efficient use of resources, as well as pricing of services according to clients’ needs. INVA BPO closed out 2025 with revenue of 4.72 million euros.
At the strategic and operative level, José Vicente has led the development of an integrated Iberian platform, with a unified management structure, a single partnership model, and an enhanced capacity to provide high-value-added legal and tax advisory services in Spain and Portugal. One of the key milestones in this process was the integration of PRA – Raposo, Sá Miranda & Associados, a merger that consolidated Andersen’s position in the Portuguese market and expanded Andersen Iberia to more than 600 professionals and 135 partners.
His business vision has led to a restructuring of the Firm’s Central Services, moving from a small family business model, where the different areas depended on the firm’s partners themselves, to a modernised support structure, professionalising the management areas and updating them technologically to enable the expansion process to continue in the coming years.
In 2024, it created the Andersen Iberia Foundation, through which pro bono activities are channelled to benefit disadvantaged groups and society.
