José Ignacio Parellada is currently a Partner in the Corporate and M&A department at Andersen in the Barcelona office.

Previously, he was Managing Partner of the Corporate area of CHR Legal until the firm joined Andersen in 2022. He has also worked in firms such as KPMG, and has been a partner in firms such as Ramón y Cajal Abogados or PWC Tax & Legal.

He has more than 25 years of experience in commercial advice, having specialized in advising on commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, venture capital, family businesses, corporate law and corporate governance and non-profit organizations.

In the academic field, he is professor and coordinator of Corporate Law in the Master of Access to the Legal Profession and co-director of the Master of International Law at ISDE.

He is the author of several specialized academic articles published in various national and international media, as well as author of books on commercial matters.
