José Antonio Tuero
Partner
José Antonio Tuero is a partner in the litigation department of Andersen in the Madrid office.
His professional activity focuses on the field of criminal law, economic and corporate criminal law, and compliance plans. He has more than 30 years of experience in advising both individuals and national and international companies. His career began at Tuero Sánchez y Asociados, where he remained for more than 15 years. In 2018, he joined Chávarri Abogados, now Tarsso Abogados, as the partner in charge of the Criminal Law and Compliance department, as well as being responsible for Litigation. In 2021, he became the Criminal Law and Compliance partner at Martínez-Echevarría.
José Antonio was the first President of the Criminal Lawyers section of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM). He currently combines his professional practice as a lawyer with his teaching work. Since 2015, he has been a lecturer on the Master's Degree in Economic Criminal Law at the Rey Juan Carlos University.
