Javier Toribio is currently a partner in the Seville office and head of the Public and Regulatory Law practice in Andalusia.

He has more than 20 years of professional experience in the practice of administrative, urban planning, environmental and contentious-administrative law.

He has extensive experience in matters related to mining, water, coasts, ports, renewable energies, urban planning, environment, infrastructure, transport, patrimonial responsibility of Public Administrations, compulsory expropriation, public aid and subsidies, public procurement, pharmacy, consumption, internal commerce and sanctioning procedures in all areas of administrative law.

He regularly advises industrial companies, especially those in the chemical, construction and mining sectors, in their establishment and development. In addition, he prepares opinions and reports on urban planning issues, providing advice to developers for the development of residential and commercial areas, as well as industrial parks and industrial zones.

He has coordinated studies, opinions and reports to provide technical-legal assistance to Public Administrations in relation to legislative initiatives and regulatory developments.

In the academic field, he is a member of the teaching staff of the postgraduate programs of Loyola University and, in addition, of the public law department of the Universidad Pablo de Olavide.
