Ivo Portabales is currently a Partner at Andersen and head of the Madrid office, as well as co-head of the firm's Corporate Law department. Previously, he was founder and Managing Partner of DA Lawyers until the firm's integration in Andersen in July 2021. He is also a member of Andersen´s Board of Directors.

With more than 30 years of experience in corporate law, he specializes in advising venture capital funds, M&A operations, listing processes for companies on BME Growth, and setting up and advising on investment vehicles.

His clients mainly include venture capital entities, large companies from various sectors and Socimis (REITs).

In addition, Ivo is an arbitrator of the Madrid Court of Arbitration.

He has participated as a speaker at various conferences at different universities and institutions and is the author of various doctrinal and legal articles both in specialized publications and in the national economic press.
