Francisco Guijarro is an Of Counsel at Andersen in the Tax department of the Madrid office.

He previously worked as a State Tax Technical Inspector, as well as Director of the Tax department of J & A Garrigues, and International Partner and Director of the Tax and Legal department of PwC.

After that, he founded his own firm in 1987, Guijarro & Sanchez Pinilla, which he directed until 1999. He went on to become Partner and Director of NautaDutilh in Spain. Following Nauta Dutilh’s integration in Hammonds, Francisco became International Partner and Managing Partner of the Spanish office, also acting as a Strategic Committee Member. Following the merger of Hammonds and Squire Sanders in 2012, he became a Consultant to the firm and an Of Counsel at Olleros Abogados.

Francisco Guijarro specializes in tax restructuring transactions related to Spanish investment abroad and foreign investment in Spain multinational groups, as well as cross-border mergers and changes of tax residence.

Francisco has been involved in the commercial and tax restructuring of Spanish corporate groups, in the tax planning and design of employee incentive plans, in negotiations on joint ventures with international investment funds, and tax and legal planning of family groups and family protocols.
