Alfonso Couce is currently a Senior Associate in the Public and Regulatory area of Andersen at the Madrid office. 

Previously, he worked as a lawyer in the Public Law and Regulated Sectors department at DA Lawyers and at CMS-ASL. 

Alfonso Couce advises a wide range of public and private entities in all branches of Public and Regulatory Law, including public procurement, management of public goods and services, public administration liability, sanctioning law, subsidies, etc. 

During his career, Alfonso Couce has specialised in legal advice, both advisory and litigation, in the defence and security sector, as well as in the aeronautical-aeroport sector and, particularly, in the drone sector; sectors in which he works with national and foreign clients.

In the academic field, he is a professor of Public and Regulatory Law and administrative litigation at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE) and ESERP Business & Law School and is also the author of several articles on Public Law, such as "La utilización de drones civiles en el marco normativo español", Anuario de Derecho Administrativo 2021, Aranzadi Thomson Reuters; "La responsabilidad patrimonial por los daños ocasionados a los profesionales del sector público como consecuencia de la falta o insuficiencia de medidas de protección frente al Covid-19" Tirant Lo Blanch; or "La cesión de créditos frente a la Administración Pública", Anuario Derecho Administrativo 2020", Aranzadi Thomson Reuters, among others. 

He also collaborates regularly with national newspapers and with numerous publications and legal reviews.
