Rafael Ripoll is an Of Counsel at Andersen in the Valencia office.

Previously, he worked at Olleros Abogados as Of Counsel and he was Regional Secretary for Relations with the State and the European Union of the Valencian Government as well as responsible of the International Development Cooperation department. Furthermore, he was alternate member of the EU’s Committee of the Regions and Vice-Chairman of the Committee for Health Care.

Rafael Ripoll had also been a member of the Board of Directors of the conference of peripheral and maritime regions of Europe (CRPM), the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) and the Political Bureau of the Assembly of European Regions (AER).

Rafael Ripoll specializes in European Union law and he has been a lawyer and consultant at the pan-European corporation ‘Euro gestores’ as well as responsible for the legal and business department at the Representative Office from Comunidad Valenciana in Brussels, where he has provided legal and economic advice to companies on business opportunities in the EU single market as well as the defense of their interests to European institutions. Rafael Ripoll has also published a number of academic articles and research. He is currently director at the Institute for European Studies of the Universidad Católica de Valencia and lecturer in European law at the same university.
