Jesus Alemany Blazquez is currently Counsel at the Tax Department of Andersen in the Madrid office.

Previously, he worked at Deloitte Asesores Tributarios, S.L.U and J&A Garrigues, S.L.P.

Jesus has extensive experience in providing tax advisory services to companies and business groups, both national and international, with special dedication to consolidated tax groups.

He has advised on the acquisition, restructuring or disinvestment of companies and other assets located in Spain, carrying out tax reviews (“due diligence”) and the analysis and implementation of investment and disinvestment structures related to them. Jesus also provides recurrent advice on tax verification and investigation, as well as on economic-administrative and contentious-administrative procedures.

Alemany is co-author of the book “Comentarios al Reglamento de Gestión e Inspección Tributaria” published by La Ley, and of the sixth, seventh and eighth edition of the book “Práctica de la Jurisprudencia Tributaria” published by CISS.

He has also been recognized by Best Lawyers 2019 as a specialist in Tax Law in Spain.
