Esmeralda Iranzo is a Director in the Litigation Department in Andersen’s Valencia office. She participates in both civil and criminal matters, highlighting her work in the Compliance Area.

Her experience in identifying and managing the risks, as well as in the development and implementation of crime prevention programs and advising legal entities, goes back to her activity as a lawyer in Zapata, Bermúdez and Pont.

Esmeralda also has extensive experience in the area of regulatory compliance in the banking sector, as well as advising companies and individuals in any financial institution.

Esmeralda is an expert in analysis and risk estimation, control implementation for risk mitigation, complaint investigation, audit practice for risk management systems, advise to compliance committees and in obtaining Rules ISO 37001:2017 certifications about anti-bribery management systems and UNE 19601:2017 about Compliance management systems.

She is a legal expert in Compliance and recently she has been incorporated into the two only lists of legal experts for the following legal bodies: Supreme Court, National Audience and Superior Court Justice in all the Autonomic Communities. She is also a Whistleblowing Channels Manager.
