Adargelio Garrido is an Of Counsel at Andersen in the Valencia office, as well as a member of the Cuban desk of the firm.

Moreover, he has wide experience in IP advice.

Adargelio Garrido is a Cuban lawyer with extensive experience in foreign investment in Cuba, in the establishment of joint ventures, the application process for the establishment of foreign companies and the negotiation of M&A transactions under Cuban law.

Previously, he worked at Cubatabaco since 1987 and he was named Legal Director in 1993. After that, he joined the legal department at Habanos, S.A., where he worked since the launch of the firm in 1994 until 2011.

In the academic field, he is a lecturer of IP in the Universidad Católica de Valencia San Vicente Mártir and the author of a number of articles and academic papers on legal matters.
