José Garrido is a partner in the IP law practice in the Madrid office.

Previously, he was a partner at DA Lawyers since 2017 when the firm joined Andersen.

He is a specialist in Industrial Property and, until joining DA Lawyers, for 22 years he was Managing Partner of Garrido Pastor abogados, a boutique in his specialty.

He provides strategic advice on the protection of business information through patents, designs, trademarks, copyrights or trade secrets, as well as the defense thereof. 

He is a member of the international associations INTA and AIPPI and a collaborating professor in the master’s degree courses in Intellectual Property at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and ICADE.

He is recognized by Legal 500 as a Spanish expert in Trademark Law.
