Gerardo Cólera is a Senior Associate in the Real Estate department of Andersen in the Madrid office.

He has solid professional experience, having advised domestic and international clients for more than 10 years on real estate and real estate finance transactions, with a particular focus on commercial assets (offices, retail, logistics and hotels).

His practice focuses on advising financial institutions, investment funds and other institutional investors on the structuring and execution of financing transactions (including acquisition finance and refinancing) as well as the creation and review of collateral packages. He also regularly advises on acquisitions and disposals of real estate assets and portfolios, as well as on commercial lease agreements.

Gerardo has been involved in numerous cross-border transactions, coordinating Spanish law aspects within multi-jurisdictional structures.

Prior to joining Andersen, he developed his professional career at Uría Menéndez and Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.
