Guillermo Muñoz-Alonso joins Andersen as Partner in the Banking & Finance practice area

Andersen has hired Guillermo Muñoz-Alonso as a Banking and Finance Partner in the Madrid office.
Guillermo holds a degree in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a degree in EU Law from the Universidad CEU San Pablo de Madrid. He has a professional career of 23 years in which he has specialised in advising financial institutions and investment funds.
In particular, he has extensive experience in international bank financing, corporate finance (including debt restructuring, recapitalisation and capital market transactions) and credit portfolio business.
Previously, he has been a partner at Garrigues, where he opened the London office in 2007 and developed it for four years, and at CMS Albiñana y Suárez de Lezo, where he was head of the Markets and Financial Services department.
