The legal directory Chambers & Partners has highlighted Andersen Tax & Legal as a recommended firm in the area of 'Dispute Resolution' in the new edition of the Chambers Global 2018 and includes the firm in the ranking in the area of Corporate/M&A for the first time. The two areas are in band 5 of this ranking, which analyses the capabilities of law firms and lawyers worldwide.

Specifically, Andersen Tax & Legal has been recognized as one of the best Spanish firms in Corporate/M&A by Chambers & Partners, which points out in its publication that the firm “has vastly expanded corporate law capabilities through the absorption of the Madrid and Valencia teams of Olleros Abogados”, which “has experience in joint venture agreements between Spanish and international companies and on the sell side of inbound investments into Spanish companies. Also acts for US and German corporates looking to buy smaller Spanish businesses”.

In the Corporate/M&A area, the guide recognizes Jaime Olleros, Managing Partner of Andersen Tax & Legal in Spain, as Foreign Expert in Cuba and underlines that he directs the firm's Cuban Desk and "counts companies that are active in Cuba among its main clients".

In addition, Chambers & Partners also highlights the Dispute Resolution area of Andersen Tax & Legal in band 5, in which it positions, in band 3 of the ranking, the managing partner of the Litigation, Insolvency and Arbitration department in the Madrid and Valencia offices, Íñigo Rodríguez-Sastre, whose publication highlights include the following: "he handles diverse contentious matters ranging from product liability claims through to ICSID and ICC arbitration mandates". Chambers & Partners, which compiles its annual ranking of firms and lawyers based on the operations carried out during the previous year and the evaluations and analysis of the sector carried out by clients and professionals from different firms, includes a summary of the results of over 190 countries included in the investigation carried out in 2017 in the Chambers Global 2018, which will be later extended to regional guides where the ranking of all the areas which the English publication addresses will be included.
