Belén Arribas becomes Managing Partner of the Privacy, IT & Digital Business Department at the Barcelona Office

Andersen Tax & Legal reinforces its Privacy, IT & Digital Business area in the Barcelona office with the incorporation of Belén Arribas Sánchez as Managing Partner of the Department.

Arribas holds a Law Degree from the University of Barcelona and a Postgraduate Degree in Information Technology Law from ESADE and in International and Community Law from the Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen (Holland).

She began her professional career as a corporate lawyer, in 2002 she joined Monereo Meyer Marinel-lo Abogados as a Senior Associate and later joined Miliners Abogados y Asesores Tributarios as a partner in charge of Technological and Digital Law, where she has worked until now. She specializes in Information Technology Law, especially in digital law, e-commerce, data protection, pharmaceuticals and biotech, disruptive technologies and IT in general, advising both international and local clients on unfair competition, marketing and advertising, product liability and regulatory issues.

In the teaching field, Belén Arribas teaches modules on data protection and technological law in the Master's Degree in the Information Society of the Barcelona Bar Association, is also a Certified Auditor of the Register of Auditors in Technological Environments - AULETEC-ICAB and arbitrator appointed by AEADE, in the speciality of Technological Law.

She has been recognized in the Who's Who Legal international directory.
