Andersen reinforces its commitment to New Technologies by incorporating Miguel Prado as partner of Fintech and Vicente Moret and Teresa Rodríguez de las Heras as counsels

Andersen Tax & Legal continues to strengthen its commitment to New Technologies as a key pillar of the firm and has incorporated Miguel Prado as Partner of the Corporate Department, led by Gonzalo Cerón, to promote the area of Financial Regulation and Fintech, as well as Of Counsels Vicente Moret, a lawyer from the Spanish Cortes Generales, and Teresa Rodríguez de las Heras, who join the firm to reinforce the areas of Cybersecurity and Digital Law.
Miguel Prado holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Masters in International Law from the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE). He specialises in legal and regulatory advice to national and foreign credit institutions, credit finance companies, payment institutions, investment service companies and collective investment institutions.
He also has extensive experience in regulatory advice on cross-border transactions, authorisation procedures for entities and cross-border structures. Within the Fintech sector, Prado has advised different players and new operators belonging to the lending and payment media sector when adapting to the applicable regulations.
Prior to joining Andersen Tax & Legal, he was a Director of the Regulatory & Compliance area at Deloitte Legal and, previously, a lawyer of the same area at Linklaters and KPMG Abogados. Recognized by the Best Lawyers directory in the area of Compliance & Corporate Governance, Prado collaborates as professor of the Master of Compliance at the Instituto de Empresa and is a regular speaker at different Universities and forums in the sector.
Moreover, For his part, Vicente Moret, who joins the firm as Of Counsel to promote the area of Cybersecurity and Digital Law, is a Legal Advisor to the Cortes Generales in the Congress of Deputies and belongs to the Government Senior Executive Service on leave of absence. He was the Lawyer of the Mixed Commission of National Security of this institution, from where he collaborated, among other tasks, in the drafting of the Report on the situation of Cybersecurity in Spain.
Moret holds a degree in Law from the University of Valencia and he is an expert in cybersecurity. He is a professor of Regulated Sectors, Digital Law and Administrative Law at IE Law School and a regular speaker at the National Institute for Cybersecurity (INCIBE), the Joint Command of Cyber Defence (MCCD), the Higher Centre for National Defence Studies (CESEDEN) and the Association of Audit and Control of Information Systems (ISACA), among others, in addition to being the author of numerous articles on the subject.
Teresa Rodríguez de las Heras, who also joins as Of Counsel, has a doctorate in Law from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a degree in Business Management and Administration from the same university, where she currently teaches Corporate Law.
Rodríguez de las Heras is a specialist in Law and New Technologies and a member of the European Commission's expert groups on artificial intelligence and liability and on electronic platforms. She is also a recognized international expert in financing operations for the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).
