Andersen incorporates Óscar Arredondo as Partner to strengthen the Litigation practice in Barcelona

This new addition is a further step in Andersen's commitment to the development, at the highest level, of its law firm in Catalonia

Andersen has incorporated Óscar Arredondo as a Partner for Litigation in the Barcelona office, thus reinforcing the positioning and capabilities of this department in Catalonia.

Óscar Arredondo has more than 20 years of experience in which he has specialised in Litigation in its different fields, especially in Criminal Law, intervening in relevant recent criminal proceedings before the National High Court and the Supreme Court in the field of Economic Criminal Law.

After preparing for the entrance examination to the Judicial Career, and serving as a Judge in different Courts of First Instance and Instruction in Barcelona for 10 years, he was a Partner at Cremades & Calvo Sotelo, focusing his professional practice in the area of Economic and Civil Criminal Litigation, also intervening in extradition proceedings and criminal proceedings of different types, such as crimes of unfair administration, investor fraud, punishable insolvency or crimes against the Public Treasury, among others.

José Vicente Morote and Íñigo Rodríguez-Sastre, Managing Partners of Andersen in Iberia, highlighted that "Arredondo's experience, both in the private sector and within the Courts, gives the Firm an added value that is especially relevant in the area of Criminal Litigation, as he has extensive knowledge and a long professional career".
