Andersen has inaugurated its new headquarters in Valencia, located in an emblematic building in the city centre at 1 Pintor Sorolla Street, with which it seeks to "boost the firm's continued growth and reinforce the strong commitment of the entire Andersen team to position itself as the leading law firm in the Valencian Community".

This was stated by José Vicente Morote, together with Íñigo Rodríguez-Sastre, Managing Partners of Andersen in Iberia, during the inauguration event, which was attended by more than 100 guests and in which Morote emphasised, during his speech, that this change of office is part of "our objective of improving the quality of our professionals and our services". "We are responding to the challenge we have set ourselves in our Strategic Plan to strengthen the Valencia office so that it continues to be a pillar of the firm, contributing 30% of the firm's national business volume and adding to the more than 100 professionals that this office currently employs".

In addition to the good results being reaped by the Valencia office, Morote recalled the parameters of the firm at international level, which is the one with the largest presence worldwide, with 165 countries and more than 360 offices, 71 offices in Europe and with a large presence in Spain in the major capitals such as Valencia, Madrid, Barcelona and Seville.

Thus, he highlighted the evolution and objectives of the Firm in Spain, which "has managed to triple its figures in five years, as it started 2017 with a budget of 13 million euros and 150 professionals and currently has 340 people in the organisation and a forecast of more than 40 million in turnover in 2022".

At this point, Andersen's Managing Partner highlighted the extraordinary work culture of the Valencian Community, which he defined as "a land of entrepreneurs, of hard-working and committed people, which perfectly represents Andersen's values". "Our commitment to the Valencian Community is indisputable, a land in which we want to be, continue and grow," he said.

For his part, Benjamín Prieto, Managing Partner of the Valencia office, pointed out that this change of office "allows our professionals to offer the best advice to clients and to develop the Firm's practices to the highest level". For this reason, he thanked all the professionals and the team for the great effort they have made "to get the offices up and running in record time".

Same objectives, new location

The new offices, located in the golden mile of business in Valencia, occupy 2,500 square metres, increasing the space by 50% with respect to the previous ones, distributed over three floors where the different practice areas are located with new innovative and flexible spaces for the more than 100 professionals who work in this office and with the possibility of accommodating future incorporations planned as part of the expansion process envisaged in the firm's Strategic Plan.

Likewise, in order to offer a better service to clients, an exclusive and personalised area has been installed to attend to them, equipped with various meeting rooms and the best technology, as well as an assembly hall that aims to promote the firm's conferences and face-to-face events in the Valencian capital.

The interior refurbishment project of the building has been carried out by the Valencian architectural firm Arqueha, analysing the priorities expressed by professionals and clients with the aim of reinforcing the firm's culture. The agreement, which was advised by the real estate services firm CBRE, was closed between Andersen and FIATC, as owner of the building.
