Andersen advises Trammell Crow Company on three land acquisitions for logistics projects in Spain

The company thus enters Spanish territory for the first time, managing a total of more than 170,000 square metres in areas around Barcelona and Madrid

Andersen has advised Trammell Crow Company (TCC), a US-based company and a leader in commercial real estate development and investment, on the purchase of three plots of land in Spain, marking the start of its first logistics projects in our country.

The more than 170,000 square metres acquired by TCC are located in strategic points of the national logistics ring around Madrid and Barcelona. More specifically, the first acquisition includes a 13,787 sq m brownfield site in Granollers, Barcelona, the second acquisition includes a 53,727 sq m brownfield site in Cabanillas, Guadalajara and the third acquisition is a 108,515 sq m greenfield site in Alovera, Guadalajara.

The sites will be transformed into warehouses of 8,594 sq m, 34.040 sq m and a 49,149 sq m Class A warehouse respectively, beeing the estimated construction date for the projects in mid-2023, with completion in the second quarter of 2025.

Maite Hernández, partner in Andersen's Real Estate Law department, was responsible for advising on the transaction, together with Arnau Galera, an associate in the same department.
