Andersen in Spain Energy practice team has advised Solaer on the sale of 15 photovoltaic projects in Italy to the Italian subsidiary of Matrix Renewables, the renewable energy platform of the American fund TPG Capital

Andersen, from the firm's Energy area, has advised Solaer on the sale of 15 photovoltaic projects in Italy to the Italian subsidiary of Matrix Renewables, the renewable energy platform of the American fund TPG Capital.

The Spanish company Solaer, dedicated to the promotion, development, construction, operation and maintenance of solar parks in an integrated manner, thus gives a new boost to its international strategy and, in particular, to the business in Italy, where it already has a solar plant. It is currently present in Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Israel, India, Portugal, Japan, Mexico, the United States, Chile and Colombia.

Andersen's Energy team, led on the M&A side by Ignacio Blanco and on the tax side by partner Borja de Gabriel, has been in charge of advising on all the implications of the entry of the American fund in the project.

On Matrix Renewables' side, the advisor has been Pérez-Llorca through the team led by the firm's partner Javier Carvajal, who has counted with the lawyer Victoria Martín Di Costanzo in the team.
