Rocío Gil is currently Partner at Andersen in the Criminal Litigation area of the Madrid office and coordinator of the Corporate Compliance area of the Firm. 

She is a specialist in economic and corporate criminal law as well as corporate criminal liability. She has extensive experience in crimes of an economic nature and against workers' rights. 

Rocío is highly qualified in Corporate Compliance, advising national and international companies on the preparation, implementation and monitoring of risk management programs, creation of compliance units, implementation of policies and procedures for supervision and updating and monitoring of these. Likewise, it participates in training and communication actions in the field through in house training and collaborates with the compliance areas in the development of internal investigations and continuous improvement activities.

In the academic field, she is director and professor of the Training Course for Compliance Officers in the pharmaceutical sector organized by Andersen and Farmaforum Formación and IQS, as well as professor of the master's degree in Compliance at the European University of Valencia and of Economic Criminal Law at ISDE and ESERP. In addition, she is a regular speaker at courses and seminars in her specialty, held at various entities and forums such as the University Carlos III, Chamber of Commerce and the International Congress C5 Anti-Corruption Spain, among others.

Likewise, with numerous publications, she is co-author of the Practical Manual of Compliance, edited by the Foundation of Stock Market and Financial Studies and Thomson Reuters, of the Guide to Current Criminal Law 2019, Tirant lo Blanch, and the book Corporate Social Responsibility: Collaborative Economy and Regulatory Compliance (2019), both published by Tirant lo Blanch, among others.

Rocío Gil has been recognized by the international board of Best Lawyers in the area of Corporate Governance & Compliance Practice in its 2020 edition.
