Pablo Doñate is a partner at Andersen in the Litigation and Arbitration department of the Madrid office.
He has nearly 20 years of experience in law firms such as Cuatrecasas, Ashurst and Clifford Chance.
During his professional career, Pablo has specialised in complex civil and commercial legal proceedings, as well as in the field of national and international arbitration, where he also acts as arbitrator. He has advised on a multitude of legal proceedings and represented large companies in commercial litigation, including international arbitrations under the main rules of the different arbitration institutions such as ICC, LCIA, CIETAC, CAM or CIMA. He also has extensive experience in all types of business-related criminal litigation, including those handled before the Spanish High Court.
In the academic field, he has been an associate professor of Procedural Law at the Instituto de Empresa (IE Law School) for more than ten years and an associate professor in the Master's Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE). He is also an Arbitrator of the Court of Arbitration of the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Madrid and of the European Arbitration Association.
