Óscar Arredondo is currently a partner in the Litigation department in the Barcelona office.

He has more than 20 years of experience in which he has specialised in Litigation in its different manifestations; especially in Criminal Law and particularly in Economic Criminal Law, intervening in the National High Court in relevant criminal proceedings that have recently taken place.

After preparing for the competitive examination for access to the Judicial Career, he has worked as a Judge in different Courts of First Instance and Instruction in Barcelona for 10 years. He was also a partner at Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo, focusing on the Criminal and Civil Litigation, intervening mainly in proceedings in the National High Court, Supreme Court, Constitutional Court and other national courts.

In the criminal area, Óscar has intervened in active and passive extradition proceedings both for States and individuals, has advised on liability for the adoption of decisions in corporate bodies, has provided assistance in matters of offences against the Public Treasury, fraud, punishable insolvency, against public administration, unfair administration, among others. In the civil field, he has intervened in all kinds of proceedings, having also been appointed insolvency administrator by different national courts in the field of insolvency law, where he has also provided services in relevant insolvency proceedings that have recently taken place in their different phases. 

Likewise, in the academic field, he has taught as Professor of the Master's Degree in Legal Consultancy at the CEU San Pablo University, at the Real Madrid University School of the European University and at the Villanueva University Centre, among.
