José Cortés is Counsel of Andersen in the Corporate Department of the firm in the Malaga office.

He has a professional career of more than 30 years, in which he has been part of firms such as Manzanares Abogados, where he was a partner, and Palacios de Torres y Asociados, where he was partner in charge of the commercial law department, combining this work with teaching at various centers and universities such as the MEDAC and the University of Malaga.

He also formed part of RocaJunyent, where he was a partner and board member, during which time he was also a board member and secretary of the board at LCC Wireless Communication Services.

Finally, he worked at DepartamentO Legal, where he headed the corporate area (including commercial, corporate and public law practices), a responsibility that he combined with the position of secretary of the board at Kingfish Iberia, Proyectos y Desarrollos Algemar and Futuna Blue España.
