Álvaro Rifá is currently a Director in Andersen's Litigation Department in the Barcelona office.

Álvaro has more than 14 years' experience as a lawyer, having been involved in numerous legal proceedings. He has developed his career in law firms such as Uría Menéndez, Toda&Nel-lo and Garrigues as an Associate. In his professional activity he has mainly advised in the fields of civil litigation and bankruptcy law.

In the academic field, he regularly participates as a collaborating lecturer in the teaching of Civil Procedural Law and Arbitration classes in the Law Degree and in the Master's Degree in Access to the Legal Profession. He is also an associate lecturer in bankruptcy law at Pompeu Fabra University.
