Álvaro García Sánchez is Counsel at Andersen in the firm's Litigation Department in the Madrid office.

He has more than 17 years of experience in which he has specialised in economic criminal law and criminal compliance. He has developed his professional career in different law firms and, for the last four years, he has headed the Criminal Law and Compliance Department at De Andrés y Artiñano Abogados.

Throughout his professional career, he has participated in several of the most important criminal proceedings in Spain, both from the point of view of the prosecution and the defence.

In the academic field, he is a lecturer in Criminal Law, Procedural Law and Compliance at the Universidad Europea, Universidad Internacional de Valencia and Universidad Internacional de la Empresa.
