Javier Martín-Merino has been a Partner in the Urban Planning and Real Estate departments at Andersen since 2022.

With over 20 years of legal experience, he built much of his career at Verdegay Abogados, where he worked from 2001 and served as Partner and Head of the Urban Planning Law and Administrative Litigation practice.

Throughout his professional trajectory, Javier has been involved in various aspects of land planning and management, as well as in contentious and expropriation proceedings. He has provided legal counsel to public administrations but predominantly advises private clients.

In the academic field, he is also a distinguished lecturer in master's programmes at institutions such as Universidad San Pablo CEU, Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (UFV), and Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE).
