Specifically, Andersen Tax & Legal has been recognized as one of the best Spanish firms in 'Commercial, Corporate and M&A' by The Legal 500, which states in its publication that the firm "advised RMA of New Jersey in the joint venture with Equipo IVI for the creation of the largest assisted reproduction group in the world, in a transaction valued at 900 million euros" and indicates that partners Gonzalo Cerón and Carlos Salinas lead the team in the Madrid, Valencia and Seville offices, and the Barcelona office, respectively.

The Legal 500 also highlights Andersen Tax & Legal's 'Dispute Resolution' area at level 4 and stresses that this department, led by Íñigo Rodríguez-Sastre with Benjamín Prieto in Madrid, Valencia and Seville, and José María Rebollo in Barcelona, has extensive experience in international arbitration and multi-jurisdictional litigation, as well as in international insolvency and compliance proceedings.

Andersen Tax & Legal is classified for the first time in the Tax area of The Legal 500 ranking, which indicates that the firm, in addition to experience in non-contentious matters, has extensive expertise in tax proceedings and inspections before the Administration. She points out that the person in charge of the practice in Madrid, Valencia and Seville, María Olleros, specialises in tax planning for business groups and recalls the incorporation of partners Javier Vinuesa, José Manuel Pumar and Tomás Rivero in the last year.

The Labor area is also included in the ranking and emphasizes that the team, as well as the director of the area, Alfredo Aspra, is specialized in labor procedures and has extensive experience in restructuring companies as a result of insolvencies or corporate reorganizations.

The firm has also been recognised in the Real Estate ranking, where it is at level 4 and on which The Legal 500 points to the incorporation of Urbe Asesores Jurídicos, with Antonio Ñudi and Carlos Peña as partners, and Maite Hernández. The directory also recognizes Andersen Tax & Legal in the area of Public Law, led by José Vicente Morote.

The firm's Banking & Finance area in Spain is also included in the ranking, which points to Guillermo Yuste and Carlos Salinas as the main contacts in this department.

The Legal 500 bases its ranking on the valuation of 250,000 corporate lawyers as well as on the analysis of the firms' operations, which are carried out independently by their investigators.
