Antonio Ñudi analyses current affairs and trends in the real estate sector in an article published in El Mundo Financiero

The Real Estate Chair has carried out a research work, in which more than 5,000 members of the entity have participated and indicates that the real estate sector in the Community of Madrid will continue its constant growth during 2019, presenting an increase in the average price of land of 5.6% with respect to 2018, a figure that exceeds by more than 4% the increase in the average price of national land that has experienced an increase of 1.35% on average in this same period.

This positive evolution of the real estate sector in the Community of Madrid is reflected in the increase in the number of works started, a variable that after experiencing a halt in the period 2013-2015, accumulates an increase in recent years and is estimated to close the year 2019 with a growth of 12.36% over 2018. In other words, of the 17,106 projects started in 2018, it is estimated that 19,220 works have started by the end of 2019. At the same time, completed projects will grow more than 12.85%, since of the 13,622 projects completed last year, it is estimated that the figure will increase to 15,372 in 2019, showing the rate of continued growth in the sector.

The presentation of these Community of Madrid real estate trends took place after a free master class for journalists, a session in which José Antonio Ramírez Pérez, director of Real Estate Business School, and Antonio Ñudi, partner of Andersen Tax & Legal and professor at this institution, debated and analysed with the attending media the current situation in the real estate sector and specific cases of particular interest at a national level.
