Andersen strengthens its position in Chambers with eight departments and 15 leading professionals in the Chambers Europe 2022 ranking

The 2021 edition of Chambers & Partners highlights the firm in the areas of Corporate/M&A, Dispute Resolution, Employment and Tax and, for the first time, Public Law, Planning, Corporate Compliance and Environment

The legal directory Chambers & Partners has highlighted Andersen as a firm in the areas of 'Corporate / M&A', 'Dispute Resolution', 'Employment' and 'Tax' which repeat in the ranking and recognises the firm for the first time in the areas of 'Public Law', 'Planning', 'Corporate Compliance' and 'Environment'.

Chambers has also highlighted 15 of the firm's professionals in its 2022 ranking, four of whom are ranked for the first time. Specifically, the directory highlights for the first time Ignacio Aparicio, the Andersen Partner and co-head of the Corporate and M&A practice area in the Corporate / M&A practice area, the Partner in charge of the Culture practice area, Patricia Motilla, in TMT: Media practice area and the partner Miguel Prado in Banking & Finance: Financial Regulation Services.

For the first time, the guide also ranks partner Antonio Ñudi in Planning, an area in which Carlos Peña also stands out. In the Dispute Resolution area, Andersen's Co-Director in Spain and head of the International Arbitration area, Íñigo Rodríguez-Sastre, stands out again as an individual, and includes for the first time Luis Cortezo in this practice, where Elena Sevila repeats as Up & Coming and, within the Corporate Crime area, includes Álvaro Martín, Director in the department.

Chambers also recognises Andersen Senior Partner Javier Mata in the Insolvency practice. In the Environment practice, the editorial recognises Partner Arancha Bengoechea, who also stands out in Public Law, an area in which it also includes Partner Pedro Rubio. In Employment, it recognises the Partner in charge of the practice, Victoria Caledevilla.

Partner Javier Bustillo is highlighted in Private Equity: Venture Capital, while in Corporate Compliance, the directory recognises Partner María Jesús Hernández.

Chambers & Partners annually prepares and publishes various rankings at global and European level based on the transactions carried out by firms and lawyers during the previous year, as well as according to valuations and analysis of the sector which, in this case, have been developed throughout 2021.
