Andersen has advised the solar energy company on the purchase from Edora of a portfolio of renewable projects amounting to 150 MW

Andersen, from the areas of Corporate and M&A Law and Energy, has advised Alter Enersun, a company in the field of renewable energies that offers solar energy solutions, in the purchase from Edora of a portfolio of three photovoltaic projects that together amount to 150 MW, which can be expanded to 250 MW of power, valued at 225 million euros.

The three projects, which are in the development phase, have a feasibility study report issued by the network operator, Red Eléctrica de España (REE).

This transaction is Alter Enersun's first acquisition as, to date, the company has developed, built and operated its own photovoltaic parks with extensive experience in the sector, as demonstrated by the projects that will soon be connected and in operation in Cáceres with a peak power output of more than 130 megawatts. The projects are expected to reach ready-to-build status (i.e. they will obtain all the necessary permits, licences and authorisations to start construction work), according to forecasts, during the fourth quarter of this year.

Ignacio Blanco, Director in the Corporate and M&A area and member of the Energy group, has been responsible for advising on the transaction, along with Santiago López, lawyer in the Corporate and M&A department.
